Surreal Landscapes by Harold Ross

In series of photographs titled “Night”, Fine art photographer Harold Ross uses LED Flashlights to illuminate landscapes for his shots, resulting in surreal landscapes that appear to have been delicately painted by hand or even digitally rendered.

For over 20 years Ross has been perfecting his illumination process, which uses an LED flashlight and other lights to selectively illuminate various areas in each photograph, a process Ross refers to as “light sculpting”.
