We can say two things with certainty: first, Jodi Steel was born with a natural talent to draw life-like images and second, she must take some very boring classes. The self-taught illustrator, a film production student at Emerson College, doesn’t seem to care if she can find paper to work on. Instead, to pass the time during less-exciting moments of college life, Ms. Steel has a knack for drawing amazingly detailed images directly onto her thigh.
Steel’s illustrations are amazingly drawn, standing out from other classroom doodles in their craft, and also in their temporary nature. A recent post on Oddity Central showcased some of her drawings, which range from life-like portraits of American television characters to hyper-detailed animal drawings, so be sure to check them out. Definitely not what one thinks of when they hear the word “doodle.”
