A colorful ring as well as a softer font have been used to change the all-caps MOTOROLA branding of old. Motorola has been rebranded to reflect it’s affiliation with Google (in one way nice and subtle, in another, blatantly shout-out).¬†Although the standalone, almost ‘trekky ‘M’ logo remains, the badge has been replaced with a rainbow-hula-hoop. This aesthetic also comes with an all-lower-case typeset that combined with the colorful halo, makes Moto blend in better with Google’s identity. The tag line “a Google company” has also been added underneath to further this new identity. Ya know, just in case you didn’t catch their drift. What do you think of Motorola’s rebranding effort?
