The wait is finally over, folks. Warner Bros. has officially made an original, full-length LEGO Movie. Come February 2014, fans all around the world will get to see the little plastic building blocks that constructed their childhood come to life on the big screen.

The 3D-computer-animated story follows Emmet, an ordinary Lego-man, who is mistaken for “The Special”, the chosen Lego who can save Legoland from complete and utter destruction. He must then join Legoland’s heroes to try to save Legoland.

The Matrix-like plot features a star cast, including the voices of Morgan Freeman, Will Ferrel, Chris Pratt, Liam Neeson, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, and Allison Brie, to mention a few.

The LEGO Movie is definitely for fans of all ages. If the actual movie lives up to the trailer’s promise, it’s sure to be packed with laughs and adventures. You can watch the trailer below.
