Food Gradients: The Photography of Brittany Wright

Seattle-based photographer Brittany Wright is as obsessed with food art as we are. Her whimsical photography is a series of shots that highlights just how beautiful some of our foods are, in a way that will appeal to both the glutton and the obsessive-compulsive organizer in all of us. Wright’s website is a showcase of her singular life goal: to teach herself to cook anything and everything. In the process, she takes some amazing photos.

While much of her work showcases her process, a good chunk of her finished material is made of what the artist refers to as her Food Gradients collection. In these shots, Wright puts together fruits, spices and vegetables, arranged in rainbow order, and beautifully displayed in a way to make mouths water.

The artist’s work has been circling the internet for quite some time, but only recently has she really gained her place in the spotlight. You can find more of her beautiful food photography on her website, her VSCO grid, and her Instagram
