Forget what you think you know about Christmas light shows. These folks bring holiday decoration to a whole new level. These modern light displays are full-on performances, featuring anything and everything from synchronized lights with music to upwards of tens of thousands of LEDs. It has truly become an art form. These are some of the most impressive Christmas light shows on the Internet.

For the past three years, Janet Stewart has put up this spectacular light display in honor of her husband, Frank Stewart, who passed away in the early summer of 2011. The display features over 65,500 programmable LED lights.

This show was on display in Helsinborg, Sweden in 2009.

Dancing Lights at Jellystone Park

This two-mile-long drive-through Christmas light show is currently on display in Nashville’s Jellystone Park and features 1,00,000 (!!!) LED lights and 200,000 feet of extension cords.

Holdman Christmas, 2010

Richard Holdman spent seven years creating these elaborately festive light displays on his home, until his Home Owner’s Association had him discontinue the production due to the influx of traffic in his neighborhood. Since then, he has started his own lighting company and now travels all over the world creating displays for other organizations and companies.
