When a graphic designer hires a design studio to brand her identity, we tend to scratch our heads and wonder why doesn’t she just do that herself? At least, that was the initial thought that crossed our minds when we heard that Malaysian designer Reinold Lim had hired Singapore-based creative studio Oddds to develop her a minimalist and modern brand and logo.

But you know what? When we saw the finished product, the collective result of the branding endeavors, we understood why. The creative studio, in a way that was both minimalist and formally modern, was able to capture the overall interests of the graphic designer and present her in a way that screams professionalism, but still retains an air of mystery.
