Between Yahoo!’s recently concluded 30 day long logo campaign as well as Motorola’s new logo redesign to reflect their new association with Google in weeks past, it would appear as though companies have taken serious interest in tweaking their branding. The newest addition to the steady stream of companies revamping their corporate identities recently is Microsoft’s search engine, Bing. And after about a year of development, what you now see above is what Microsoft’s design lead Lawrence Ripsher and his crew have come up with. The new logo comes with a complete revamping of the entire search engine with the goal of making it more approachable and user friendly and will continue to make more subtle (some not-so-subtle changes) in the near future.
