Leandro Granato is an Argentine painter who really lets his art get to his head. The work that Granato produces is nothing short of spectacular, but what makes him really special isn’t so much the final product as the creative process that Granato has created. In what is one of the most unique processes we’ve ever come across, the artist somehow is able to snort liquid into his nose and spray it from his tear ducts onto canvas.

The resulting works resemble splatter art created in more traditional methods, vague abstract landscapes that appear only half formed on the page, resembling a muddled dream Monet must have one night after too much wine.

Check out the artists website for more work, as well as the very strange video below of Granato hard at work.
