Although what you see above may spin effortlessly, it’s diligent creation was anything but. Lebanese artist Najla El Zein has recently constructed an installation meticulously crafted  from paper pinwheels attached to plastic tubes using 3D printed clips. The aptly named Wind Tunnel which is currently located in London’s V&A (Victoria and Albert) Museum  stands 26 feet tall and uses an automated system that periodically produces wind at different strengths to make the installation spin in a controlled manner. Something pretty amazing considering how precise the holes need to be also factoring how unpredictable something like the passing winds can be.
