Tobias Battenberg from Germany completed a study a short while back using one of our favorite fonts: Akzidenz Grotesk. Battenberg’s study involved video projections onto several buildings and structures in the city. The combination of the projectiosn, typeface and gorgeous photography made for a very compelling visual essay. Battenberg commented, “Akzidenz Grotesk is known as a font that tolerates a lot, that holds out a lot – my plan was to get a proof by the font herself and the font demonstrated her character at its best.” An ambitious project very well executed.
